Hey internet CCTP fans! We're the new 2009 interns and we're extremely excited to be working for the Cape Cod Theatre Project this summer! Today, we had the pleasure of participating in the Woods Hole Independence Day Parade and had a great time! While the purpose of our involvement was to get the word out about CCTP, we also encountered many diverse forms of entertainment while walking along the adorable streets of Woods Hole. After some intense face painting (which of course included glitter) and some decorating, all eight of us piled into the back of Christine's truck and made our way to the festivities. We saw gastrulating science geeks, a man in a bra, and a woman representing Noah's Ark all while attempting to advertise. In our attempt to entice playgoers, we passed out candy to eager kids and tried to blow bubbles into the crowd, but really ended up blowing them in our own faces. All in all, the effort was a success! We passed out tons of fliers and hopefully spread the word about all of the fantastic plays we're doing here this summer! Photos to come soon!
