ARE YOU A RUNNER, OR DO YOU KNOW ONE?
The Cape Cod Theatre Project has been accepted into the New Balance Falmouth Road Race Numbers-for-Nonprofits program. Last year the program raised almost $2 million for selected charities.
This year the race is on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013. The race is closed, except for this special program being offered to select non-profits like ours.
CCTP has been offered numbers for five runners if they pledge to raise at least $1,000.
If you are a runner, or if you know a runner who appreciates what we do at CCTP, please consider this. Falmouth was named “Best USA Road Race” by Runner’s World magazine some years back, and was recently listed as one of the top 10 “iconic” events in running. The beautiful waterfront course from Woods Hole to Falmouth Heights is one of the most spectacular anywhere — as you can see from the picture.
Please spread the word by any means: Facebook, e-mail, personal contacts, or considering running the race yourself (slow-pokes welcome!). We need to commit to the program by June 15 to ensure numbers, so time is tight.
